SUMMARY:First Friday Jazz at the Old Church
DESCRIPTION:Every first Friday of the month get together at the Old Church. Players and listeners welcome. Gold coin donation (or folding stuff if you can.) We are all volunteers and non-profit – money goes to the Old Church and keeping the bar operating! Tunes to be worked on in advance will be posted on the facebook event page so there is a common base to work from. Also very open to playing tunes suggested by members. DESCRIPTION:Another dynamic singing session with Stella Savy\, covering gospel and world music. Stella has been a vocal coach for over 20 years\, conducting groups such as Sweet Mona’s Choir\, The Mini Mona’s Choir and Thursday Night Community Choir\, Conductor for Boite’s Millennium a number of times. Stella has worked with choirs and groups all around the world and has an energetic and fun approach to facilitating her sessions.
