DESCRIPTION:Two great young musical acts – one a rising star on the Australian Blues scene and the other a pair of promising singer/songwriters with an uncanny craft for harmonising together and reinventing and reinvigorating old songs. \nEnjoy the sights of Bendigo’s architecturally stunning CBD from on board the sensationally restored vintage W Class tram\, while being serenaded by two great acts: \nCharlie Bedford:\nCharlie Bedford is a 17-year-old blues guitarist & vocalist from Melbourne. Charlie performed at the “International Blues Challenge – Youth Showcase” in Memphis 2017 and 2018 representing the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society!\nHe has played with & been mentored by some of the biggest names in Australian Blues such as\, Geoff Achison\, Sweet Felicia\, Jimi Hocking\, Andrea Marr\, Russell Morris & Lloyd Spiegel to name a few. Charlie is a fresh act on the festival scene\, representing the next generation – keeping the blues alive! He’ll get your feet tapping & leave a smile on your face! \nWalkers Road:\nJarrod Shaw and Sarah Wilkinson perform a blend of country\, folk and roots music that showcases their unique guitar styles and superb harmonies. The combination of Jarrod’s blues heavy approach with Sarah’s folk and country style makes for a diverse and captivating show.\nTheir first collaboration was at the Carols At Hanging Rock event in 2012\, where they were asked to perform as a duo. An award winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with achingly soulful vocals\, her uplifting music is more than a simple band-aid to the blues.\n“The Brouhaha has a gorgeous\, powerful\, dare-we-say Adele-esque voice\, and her new song Don’t Have To Write it Down is a fine vehicle for it” – RIP IT UP\nOnce upon a time this traveller had a full-time job\, a marriage and a mortgage that was sucking the life out of her to the point that she’d randomly pass out. Miserable\, anxious and stressed out – she chose a different path \, bought a van and created a life doing what she loves.\n“…[her music] has the ability to lift you up and put you in a happy place” – MUSIC SA\nSince 2009 The Brouhaha and Margo (her faithful Tarago) have travelled Australia’s East Coast extensively  playing roughly 200 shows per year. With a string of supports including Clare Bowditch\, Mia Dyson\, Liz Stringer\, Sarah Mcleod\, Jen Cloher and Wes Carr – Kel spreads an infectious positivity with her comedic stage show\, superstar girl band (featuring Ali Foster\, Emily A Smith\, Jenna Bonavita\, Tania Savelli and Melanie Watts) and their soul inspired roots tunes. \nJustin Bernasconi:\nNamed as ‘One of this country’s most interesting guitar talents’ by Australian Guitar magazine\, Justin Bernasconi is a rarity among guitarists and songwriters.
