Music Starts at 9pm.   \nWith the last of my Melbourne shows finished up for the season\, I’ll be heading to Bendigo for this intimate solo night at the Bendigo Basement bar\, followed by the Blues & Roots Showcase/Fundraiser at The Vine on Sunday 17th July. \nThese mark my last shows in Victoria before I head South to Hobart to study music and disappear into a musical chrysalis\, not to re emerge until spring. DESCRIPTION:After another brilliant November Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival in 2016\, 2017’s supporting events will again be limited in number but packed with even more fresh talent and brilliant music\, at some of our favourite local venues – our Winter Showcase/Fundraiser event for this year will again be at the Golden Vine Hotel. \nThe packed list of acts confirmed to perform at this year’s BB&RMF Winter Showcase event includes some of Bendigo’s best\, along with some fresh faces and exciting sounds from the larger blues\, soul\, jazz and original music circuits who’ve put their respective hands up to support our not-for-profit community music festival.  Here’s some of the acts playing the Vine on July 16: The Deans of Soul\, Catfish Voodoo\, Nardia Rose Band\, Matt Katsis\, Kelly Brouhaha\, Cameron James Henderson\, The Barren Spinsters\, Tasha Zappala\, Tim Hulsman\, Wayne Jury\, Savannah Rose\, William Alexander\, Bill Barber & The Revellators\, Dave Diprose\, Mariah McCarthy\, Mr Wilby & Me… with more to be announced! \nAs always\, these artists are donating their time and talents for this Fundraiser\, as do the Festival’s volunteer committee and crew\, to help boost the kitty to pay for the Festival itself\, to be held on November 9-12\, 2017. \nTo continue to fund this predominantly free festival\, your support and assistance is needed. So spread the word and bring a posse to the Golden Vine Hotel Bendigo on Sunday 16 July and help grow the burgeoning music scene we’ve managed to revitalise together over the last 7 years or so in Central Victoria.  \nOn behalf of our local venues\, local and visiting artists\, and all of us who enjoy a wide range of live music to choose from on a weekly basis\, ‘Thank You’ for your ongoing support of grass-roots music events! \nTickets for the Winter Showcase event are available at the door on the day and are $15 for adults\, $5 for under-18s (with under-12s free).
