Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival (the 4-day music festival that ran from 2011 through 2022 and featured over 100 acts per festival in up to 50 venues at a time) is currently in hiatus.

While we hope to return to staging a major festival weekend again in future, our core team are not sitting idle. We continue to stage smaller scale music events, such as The Blues Tram (run monthly, except for January) and concerts from touring and local artists at The Old Church on the Hill.  We also support venues and other festivals and events when they reach out to us seeking help with booking their music line-ups, sound production crews. We also lend promotional support where appropriate and where we’re able.  Our core mission hasn’t changed – to support and nurture a healthier and more vibrant live music culture in and around Bendigo; to provide opportunities for grass-roots artists (local and visiting) to share their music with appreciative audiences in appropriate venues in our area; to encourage audiences to get out and enjoy quality live music in the venues in our area on a regular basis – not just when a big event comes to town.

Please follow us on facebook and instagram to keep informed about blues & roots, folk, jazz and funk music events in our area.
