Two contrasting styles from two established acts – soulful, jazzy and sweet vs raw, rugged “Hill Country” Blues – Sarah Wilkinson returns to the rails and T.K. Reeve (with Nathan Power on drums), makes his Blues Tram debut.
Enjoy the sights of Bendigo’s architecturally stunning CBD from on board the sensationally restored vintage W Class tram, while being serenaded by two great acts:
T.K. Reeve:
Based in Melbourne, Victoria, his original songs hark back to early roots music, capturing the spirit and simplicity of rural blues. Playing baritone tuned electric guitars and with drummer Nathan Power (ex-New Savages), he conveys everything from ballads to energetic dance numbers, delivering a spontaneous and dynamic show.
He embarked on a long tour following the release of his debut EP in Sept 2017, with performances at Nimbin Roots Festival and numerous dates all the way through the east coast, Adelaide and rural SA, until the end of Feb ’18 finishing with a performance at Bruthen Blues Festival.
T.K. also plays guitar with Jukeboy Emmett and in other roots bands when he’s not busy with his own music.
Sarah Wilkinson:
Sarah Wilkinson began playing guitar and writing songs when she was 13 years old. She quickly began performing around her local Macedon Ranges area, and gathered several awards early on including the Maldon Minstrel award and Macedon Ranges youth award – both when she was just 16. Since then, Sarah’s incredible voice and unique guitar style have been leaving audiences spellbound across Victoria.
