A king of soul, reggae and roots with a young singer/guitarist who will leave you breathless – Josh Owen and Sarah Wilkinson will deliver a very special Blues Tram experience on 9 June.
Enjoy the sights of Bendigo’s architecturally stunning CBD from on board the sensationally restored vintage W Class tram, while being serenaded by two great acts:
Josh Owen:
Josh is a hugely respected amongst his peers and discerning music fans as guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer.
Be it in solo mode or with his white-hot band, Owen always shines. His outstanding musical talent has shone alongside the likes of Jamaican Reggae legend Earnest Ranglin, US songstress Toni Childs and the Unconscious Brothers, who comprise some of Australia’s finest and most in demand musicians.
Owen’s solo performances accentuate his wonderful gift for storytelling, as well as his warmth of spirit and observational song writing, while showcasing his absolute mastery of the guitar.
Sarah Wilkinson:
Sarah Wilkinson began playing guitar and writing songs when she was 13 years old. She quickly began performing around her local Macedon Ranges area, and gathered several awards early on including the Maldon Minstrel award and Macedon Ranges youth award – both when she was just 16. Since then, Sarah’s incredible voice and unique guitar style have been leaving audiences spellbound across Victoria..
